Just over a week away from launch here in the states, Capcom has announced that they have officially lowered the price of their upcoming 3DS juggernaut from $49.99 to $39.99. The initial reason was the cost of manufacturing the cartridge which was to be double the size of the previous highest memory limit. While initial reviews have all been glowing and anyone with working eye sockets can tell much more effort has been put into this game then any other 3DS title yet, many balked over the idea of paying the same price as a new Wii game for a portable game, no matter how big or good it was. Well it looks like you have no more excuse now as it will be standard 3DS pricing and hopefully will reach a wider audience now.
