In another one of its quarterly schedule updates that never tells you what you really want to know, Nintendo has detailed the release lineup for the rest of the year concerning the DS and the 3DS. There was little in the way of surprises, but there was a couple notable absences. Despite claims that Luigi’s Mansion 2 could have been out in fall of 2011, it appears that things have not been going well in Canada and it won’t be making it out at all in 2012. No reason was given for the delay but on the bright side Paper Mario: Sticker Star will release on November 11. The other game missing was Castlevania: Mirror of Fate. The ambitious era spanning, four playable character featured epic hasn’t been seen or heard since its debut at E3 this year. It would appear that developer Mercury Steam simply just needs more time to finish it up so it will have to sadly miss the halloween bash this year. If you still want some good 2D style castle spelunking, Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion will launch in late November. Luckily that game continues to look more and more tits with each new screen.
Now if only Nintendo would remember they have a whole new fucking system and launch lineup of games coming out this year and actually said something concrete about it.
