In a gesture seemingly born out of the desire to prove that Bioshock Infinite is still releasing soon and still looks great despite the departure of many high level staff, 2K Games and Irrational have released the “Beast of America” trailer. While it doesn’t show much new, it does reassure that the game is still coming February 26, still looks awesome, and that they can make a trailer entirely from in game footage. That last gesture I highly appreciate. What I don’t like though is the song choice. It almost seems to be a new trend to find some horrendously unfitting song for game trailers nowadays. I trend I hope would have died with Aerosmith and Dead or Alive. Here is the new trailer. Feel free to mute it and play something good in the background instead.
